Augusta, GA Railfanning with Snow | L&N Heritage + C343 Rare Loaded Coal Train 2/2-3/2026

Описание: Hey railfans! Here's another outing of mine that I did the past 2 days, with a total of four trains. We first caught L837 on the GA Road with some snow leftover from the Saturday storm. We hopped over to Taylor Street as M692 was ready to leave to go to Erwin, TN. The following day we caught M691-03 with 1850, the L&N heritage, on point as he led down the Augusta Sub. We made it over to Martinez to get ready to see a rare run on the McCormick Sub, as rare loaded coal train C343-31 rolled by with a rear DPU on the tail. This was the first coal run on this line since October 2025, and the first MK coal of the year. However, this was the second coal train to run through Augusta, as the previous night, empty coal E444-27 went down the GA Road the previous night.
