The first trailer for Lanterns has officially dropped — after leaking online earlier today. With the footage already spreading across the internet, DC and HBO ended up releasing the trailer early, turning what should have been a big reveal into a pretty awkward situation.
In this video, I break down my first reaction to the trailer, the tone the series seems to be going for, and why it feels less like a cosmic Green Lantern story and more like something closer to Reacher or Yellowstone.
