Ahead of the 64th NLA Annual Conference scheduled for July in Minna, the National Executives of the Nigerian Library Association, alongside members of the Local Organizing Committee, paid advocacy and courtesy visits to key government stakeholders in Niger State.
The delegation was received by the Honourable Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Hon. Obed Nuhu Nana, who welcomed the Association and expressed support for hosting the conference during Niger State’s 50th anniversary year under the New Niger Agenda. The team also visited the Director-General of Schools and Education Reform, Hajiya Maimuna Mohammed, at the Early Child Care School, Bosso.
These engagements reflect ongoing collaboration to strengthen library development, education, and knowledge access in Nigeria.
