I took my Son on his first time kayaking the Swamp. We went to Billy's Island so that he could see how cool and crazy it would have been to live on an island in the middle of the swamp. The wind and current from recent heavy rains was against us. Luckily I had my Bixpy Jet and was able to tow my Son all the way to the island! Otherwise we would have never made it.
Overall it was a great trip! We saw tons of Alligators and got to hear their mating calls as well. The weather was perfect too! I recommend going to the Swamp in early spring to avoid the bugs, heat, and humidity.
