I participated in the Global Game Jam with an ambitious idea, a tight timeline, and a lot of excitement and I failed to submit the final build. In this video, I break down what went wrong, what I underestimated, and the biggest lessons I learned from pushing too hard without scoping properly.
Game jams aren’t just about shipping a game they’re about learning how to work under pressure, make fast decisions, and manage energy and expectations. Failing to submit was frustrating, but it forced me to rethink planning, teamwork, and how I approach creative projects. This experience changed how I’ll handle my next jam, and I’m sharing it so other devs can avoid the same mistakes.
