Jumping into Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice for the first time ever - I’ve never played a FromSoftware before! The combat is so interesting, especially the parry mechanics, but I got humbled along the way 😅
In this video, I explore Ashina Outskirts, test out the parry system, and take on my first mini-boss, General Naomori Kawarada. Then I face the terrifying Chained Ogre, learning the hard way about grab attacks, posture mechanics, and first-time mistakes.
As my first Sekiro playthrough, I’m still exploring and learning, and so far I’m really enjoying the game. Some punishments for death felt a bit harsh, but that just makes the victories even more rewarding!
