Vinyl fans wait in line overnight for annual Record Store Day

Описание: SPRINGFIELD - Vinyl fans were celebrated this morning for the annual Record Store Day event.

The two stores participating in springfield this year were Stick It In Your Ear downtown and Heavy Heads Records on west Battlefield.

Store owners say today is a day were people who love vinyl records purchase limited releases from a number of different groups like Pink Floyd to Weezer. Some stores saw crowds lining up starting last night to find these unique records.

"12 hours man, I salute them, I could not do it myself, but they got here early, they got here early, they got what they wanted and were super happy," Erik Mylan, Owner of Stick It said.

"There was a lot of work that went into this, so I'm glad to see it all come together," Chris Grant, Owner of Heavy Heads said.

People who love records are willing to brave the cold. Store owners say this event happens twice a year, today and on Black Friday.
