Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and a medium-sized English garden built into the side of a mountain in the town of Kassel, central Germany. As with most English style gardens, the Bergpark features a number of interesting "follies" or features, including a ruined aqueduct, a replica Swiss bridge, a Gothic castle, an enormous statue of Hercules, and what was once the world largest and most complex water feature. It's very beautiful, and an incredible feat of engineering, and we had a great time checking it out in spite of the cold!
