Google's Snapseed app is my go-to app for improving and editing photographs on my iPhone. It is also available for Android phones. a About 98% of the photographs I post online or share with family have been retouched or "post-processed" in some way to improve the original photo. And the majority of that editing is done in Snapseed.

The app can do soooooooo much that it is sometimes intimidating. However, it gets easy when you know how, easier when you do it a few times and easiest when you do it often.

My daughter wanted to learn about photo editing, yet was too intimidated to watch long tutorials covering many different capabilities. Therefore, I began putting together these short, mini-tutorial videos on the various features available in Snapseed. One video for each major tool or capability of the program. That way, you can find the feature that looks interesting and quickly learn how to use it without having to watch an extended tutorial covering everything.

As a grandpa, I love pictures of my kids and grandkids and these videos are dedicated to my children so they can quickly and easily learn the magic capabilities of Snapseed to improve their photos if they so choose. And the learning is based on one editing tool at a time in just a few short minutes.

This short video shows use of the Healing Brush Tool which allows you to "magically" remove items from your photos. I say "magically" because it is amazing just what can be done with this tool and it simply takes my breath away sometimes.

It is easy when you know how, easier when you do it a time or two, and easiest when you have done it many times.
