The Hebrew word for “sacrifice of thanksgiving” is תּוֹדָה (Todah).
Levi 7:12. If he offers it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer, with the sacrifice of thanksgiving, unleavened cakes mixed with oil, unleavened wafers anointed with oil, or cakes of blended flour mixed with oil.
In the Old Testament, this term often appears in the context of offerings made to express gratitude to God. For example:
In Leviticus 7:12, the “sacrifice of thanksgiving” is referred to as זֶבַח תּוֹדָה (Zevach Todah), where Zevach means “sacrifice” and Todah means “thanksgiving.”
