The Yonex Percept 100 and 100D Tennis Racquets carry on the tradition of the VCORE PRO models. As the most control-oriented line in the Yonex catalog, the Percepts feature thinner beam constructions and are created with feel and precision in mind. Both models feature 23-millimeter beams and are enhanced with the SERVO FILTER, a thin film wrapped around the graphite to filter vibration without overly muting the feel. This new technology replaces Vibration Dampening Mesh, which was in the last two generations of the VCORE PROs. Yonex also stiffened the racquet face on the PERCEPT line for added stability and power, but there is still plenty of flex in the shaft to provide comfort. The 100D is a brand-new offering, and the 18x19 string pattern gives it more control than the PERCEPT 100.
