Despite, the FBI's statement in 2021 of "No new information to report," it's revealed that the FBI has considered Poste a suspect since 2016. Poste passed away in 2018.

By California law, Poste's DNA should have been entered into CODIS the US' national DNA database. However, it remains in doubt if the FBI, or Local PD's have entered their DNA evidence in the database.

With Poste's DNA gathered, the next step is to gain the support of the PD's to close the loop between the DNA evidence in their possession and the Poste DNA gathered by the Case Breakers.

Erik Kleinsmith returns to the Break It Down Show with Pete A Turner providing this latest news. The Zodiac Killer terrorized Bay Area families in the late 60's early 70's with a series of murders and taunting communication with local news outlets and the police.
