Automating a song section FAST with low effort - Clip from Q&A #31

What’s the best way to organize, if I want processing chain to change radically between verse, bridge, chorus on 4-5 tracks (lead voc, bg voc, guitars, drums)? Ie. have completely different eq, dynamics and special fx in different sections of the song. Automating fx on same tracks seems complicated, and separate tracks for each section is cumbersome to work with.

My personal preference for this is to work in Latch Preview mode, using the global automation mode, and a cycle action I built to make it all possible with a single hotkey.

I think this is by far the best workflow improvement I've ever made. Automation used to be a chore and take me out of the creative flow and now it's something I enjoy and use without hesitation.
