EP #5 - Variety of Nikon COOLPIX P1000 Zoom Tests

Описание: This is the 5th episode in my super zoom variety series featuring the Nikon COOLPIX P1000 camera. In this episode, I showcase the Nikon P1000's truly amazing zoom range from its wide-angle focal length of 24mm to its super telephoto focal length of 3000mm. We’ll even see the P1000’s maximum digital zoom of 12,000mm! Here are the TEN different super zooms in this episode: a hot air balloon, a kayaker out on the lake, the bell on top of a church built in the 1800s, The Apennine Mountains on the Moon, the inside of a World War 2 era B-17G bomber named "I'll be Around", a Great Blue Heron out on the lake (birding!), the Reuben Lasker ship entering San Diego Bay, the spines on a Saguaro cactus from far away, the MMT Observatory from 10.5 miles away, and a dog beach on the other side of an ocean inlet. Now that’s a VARIETY of super zooms!

FYI, I have really shaky hands, so I applied some minor image stabilization to some of the super zooms using my video editing software. And the audio of some of the super zooms were replaced because some of the sounds heard while recording (like wind or people talking) were distracting.
