Описание: English - Welcome to Saturday trams from Schony747. Today the video focuses on Melbourne Tram Route 58 traveling through the beautiful Royal Park and in particular the Northen section of the park.


Royal Park covers 170 hectares and is the City of Melbourne's largest park and is also home to The Melbourne Zoo. The Park was proclaimed in the mid 1800s and the tram line through Royal Park opened in 1925.



Route 58 is a combination of the former Tram Route 55 and Tram Route 8. The service is operated by Malvern Tram Depot, Essendon Tram Depot and The Hub which is based in the City. Comeng / ABB B2 Class Trams, Comeng Z3 Class Trams and Siemens Combino Low Floor Trams are operate the service. On the day of filming there was only B2 Trams and Combino Trams on route 58.
