Описание: Join me for a peaceful walk around Roosevelt Island — one of New York City’s hidden gems.
Nestled between Manhattan and Queens, this quiet island offers stunning skyline views, riverside paths, and a touch of history. In this video, we’ll explore Southpoint Park, take in the views from the East River, and pass by the hauntingly beautiful ruins of the Smallpox Hospital — a rare gothic landmark in NYC.
We’ll also visit the Roosevelt Island Lighthouse at the northern tip, the Octagon Tower, and the serene sanctuary areas along the waterfront. You’ll see the unique NYC Earthworks Puzzle Monument, peaceful green spaces, and end the journey at the powerful and elegant FDR Four Freedoms Park, located at the southern edge of the island.
