Описание: Alice Oroma is 25 and lives in Amuru District, northern Uganda. Through Amref's 'Piwa Maleng' ('Our clean water' in the Acholi language) programme, Alice's village got a new water tap just a few hundred metres from Alice's home. Instead of the hours it used to take her to fetch water, she can now get water in just 10 minutes, giving her peace of mind and more time back in her day. Watch her story.
