[ENGLISH]
This is an Eastern epic dedicated to the sheer will of the human spirit.
In ancient Chinese mythology, there was a man named Kuafu. He ran across the scorched earth, chasing the sun that burned everything in its path. He eventually collapsed from exhaustion, but his fall was no defeat—his wooden staff transformed into a vast peach forest, providing eternal shade and life for generations to come.
We’ve stripped away the glitter of modern production, choosing instead a restrained, visceral approach to capture this "impossible" pursuit.
Soundscape:
The Smoky Vocal: A deep, weathered voice that carries the grit of the desert wind.
Eastern Soul: The sharp pluck of the Pipa and the haunting breath of the Dizi flute, intertwined with the melancholic weight of the Cello.
Cinematic Grit: No shouting, no cheap drama. Only the rhythmic pulse of low-frequency drums, echoing a heart beating in the face of extreme thirst.
This song is for every lonely soul still running across their own wilderness.
Lyrics Highlights |
[ Section I ]
I offer my life to the scorched earth,
And leave my shadow to those who follow.
Let the children know:
The fire is not to be feared,
Nor are the heavens above.
[ Section II ]
I carry the thirst of the earth
Upon my weary shoulders.
I shall go and question the sun:
Where does the journey end?
And where is the justice we seek?
