Army Chief Emphasizes Importance of Loyalty to State and Constitutional Role

Описание: The safety and security of the people of Pakistan is the top priority for the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Asim Munir, according to his recent remarks at the passing out parade of cadets of 147th PMA Long Course at Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul. In his speech, the Army chief emphasized that there is no duty more binding than defending the motherland, and that the bond between the Armed Forces and the people of Pakistan must be preserved and strengthened.

COAS Munir also stressed the importance of unity within the state of Pakistan, with no distinction of caste, color, creed, gender or geography, and affirmed the loyalty of the Army to the Constitutional role assigned to it. He reassured the public that the Armed Forces have the will, capability and capacity to protect Pakistan's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and that the Army will continue to support their Kashmiri brothers in their struggle for basic human rights and self-determination.

The Passing Out parade of cadets of 147th PMA Long Course, 13th Mujahid Course, 66th Integrated Course, 6th Basic Military Training Course and 21st Lady Cadet Course was held at PMA Kakul. General Munir was the chief guest on the occasion and awarded the Sword of Honour, President's Gold Medal, and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Overseas Gold Medal to distinguished cadets.
