Replying to @Alana💍 yes, the “old way” of using this procedure with a syringe and uncontrolled water pressure with unregulated temperature could cause pain, discomfortt, and/or dizziness. That is not the case here with this new machine (The Earigator) where pressure is controlled and water is set to body temperature. Also, I misspoke and meant to say that water set 7 degrees above/below body temperature is what causes the dizziness. That is not the case with this machine. Last, ear irrigation is contraindicated for people with outer ear infections, eardrum perforations, and PE tubes in their eardrums. Hope this helps.
