Review of the Dilwe Dual Motor RC Winch (1/10 Scale)
This winch has a solid feel and a nice bit of weight to it. It arrived in a generic plastic bag, wrapped securely in bubble wrap, and included the recommended mounting hardware.
The winch comes pre-spooled with steel cable, and they also include an alternative synthetic line in the package, which is a nice touch.
Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing.
The product claims a hard pull rating of 7–8kg (15.4–17.6 lbs). I tested it with a dead lift on my 11 lb rig, which is well below the advertised capacity, and it was unable to complete the pull.
I have other winchs that are as capable as this one. However, they were cheaper and came with either the wireless remote or the module that you can control it with your RC receiver via your RC Transmitter.
Based on that performance, I will be returning the winch.
