Solo trip to Vienna + Bratislava

Описание: The best part about solo trips is when they don't feel like solo trips. Along my adventures, I met Ann, my hostelmate. We spent the afternoon talking at Prater where we discussed the differences and commonalities between our cultures and what it's like being a 20-year-old girl traveling Europe by ourselves. She visited me in Rome on her interrail trip, then we went to a DJ set together when I came up to Amsterdam! These international experiences and friends are priceless. All to say, never be afraid to speak to someone, you never know what can happen. On that note, I also made friends with Mexican students studying abroad in Vienna. I met them at the Belvedere museum, then later that night we went to dinner and the next day I met up with them in Bratislava. At my hostel, I also had breakfast with an elderly Finnish man who was telling me his story of biking from California to Boston when he studied abroad in the USA. On one of my last nights, my hostelmates were two Brazilian girls!
It's amazing to see how far being trilingual and friendly (in a safe and calculated way ofc) can take you. I actually ended up speaking more Spanish than English throughout my travels.
