The kitchen is getting a shake-up! After 20 years, Gregg Wallace and John Torode have been axed as MasterChef hosts. Stepping into their roles are food critic Grace Dent and acclaimed chef Anna Haugh.

Dent is a familiar face to fans, having appeared as a guest judge and even as a contestant herself on a previous series. Haugh, who has been a judge on MasterChef: The Professionals, brings her expertise as the founder of London’s popular Myrtle restaurant. The two will now team up to find the next amateur cooking sensation.


This news comes after a report upheld claims of inappropriate conduct against Wallace and a racist term used by Torode, leading to their dismissal. The show’s production company decided to air the recently filmed amateur series with the former hosts for the contestants' sake.
