Cyclekart Creation and Evolution 1926 Miller Indy racer!

Описание: Cyclekarts a relatively new phenomenon that is incredible in fun for the buck! As most kids growing up in the 50’s racing was an exciting sport. I always wondered what it would be like to race on a road course track. However the price of racing always put it out of reach and life went on. I did get to help pit an Indy team at Willow Springs Raceway in the 90’s.

I discovered Cyclekarts on line and was coincidentally moving stuff from Utah to Az when the Huntsville Grand Prix festival and exhibition was being put on. I met a great group of people and drove a Cyclekart! Much different than a go cart a lot more fun and they cost less to build!

Last year I got an opportunity to race , not exhibit, my 1926 Miller Indy racer cyclekart. A 1.8 mile road race track 11 turns and 150 ft elevation chance. We ran 12 cyclekarts 1.2 hours clockwise, a 10 minute pit stop, and 1.2 hours counter clockwise. This was the longest and one of the toughest events I have attended. I had 3 breakdowns but managed to get back in the race. Overall I placed 6 th with 62 miles on my cyclekart.

My cyclekart has had to evolve over time to be reliable and the livery and bling is about done with the dash upgrade.
