I made a Hideki Naganuma-inspired big beat remix of "Neon Nights" from Phantasy Star Online 2 for the DJ Professor K takeover event at the SiIvaGunner channel. PSO2 is one of my all-time favourite games, and it has some of my all time favourite music, so I really wanted to try my hands at making a remix of this amazing song. I felt that a sample-heavy, big beat approach would've been PERFECT for the kind of song it is, so I used the original vocal files from the game and based my arrangement around them. I really wanted some live saxophone solos to really give the song a fresh new identity, so I contacted my good friend Charles Ritz to shed over some sections. Not only that--but for the very first time I recorded my own synth solo, based around a very familiar melody to PSO-series fans!

This likely won't be the only time you'll see PSO on my channel--with it having some of my all time favourite music, I'm likely going to be doing more stuff with it in the future, so I apologize if it isn't to your interest.
