This little radio is a lot more than I thought it would be.
First, it's simple. No AGC, no ALC, no noise blankers, no squelch, etc, just a VFO (tuning knob), volume, a fine tuner, and an available constant tone to make antenna tuning easy.
10 watts made a lot of contacts on test-drive day, and I got good signal reports from the other stations and had good audio on my end.
This also has a 1/4" headphone jack on the back, along with a CW key jack. Any wall-wart style power supply works for this, as long as it's 12-15 VDC, at least 1.2 amps, with a 3.5mm plug, and a positive center pin.
To say I was impressed by this radio would be an understatement.
