Ahulabrum (US) - Esoteric Folklore (Demo 2024)

Описание: An ever shapeshifting project, although always irreversibly bound to its principles, ethos and spirit, Ahulabrum graces us with a very interesting detour that definitely makes for one of its best releases as of recently.

Over 20 minutes of droning and very dreamy, or rather nightmarish Dark Ambient, somewhat following on a similar path as "Electronic Folklore" and "Sandown Clown" but with a more notorious New Age influence, rather than Dungeon Synth, as present in the slowly developing, but blissful tonal variations and melodies. Of course, this ray of light comes with no less amount of darkness, as Ahulabrum still manages to creates incredibly dreadful, uncanny, otherwordly atmospheres with the use of a lot of elements of Noise and Industrial music.

Like "Electronic Folklore", this demo was aptly released on tape via the impeccable Attic Shrines label.
