We visited the Sloth Rescue Sanctuary at Selvatura Park in Monteverde, Costa Rica and it was such an inspiring experience. 🦥🌿
I truly loved learning about the rescued sloths and their stories. All of the sloths here are female rescues, and it was so heartwarming to see how well they’re cared for in a safe, protected environment.
The tour was informative, thoughtful, and really eye-opening. You can tell the sanctuary focuses on education, conservation, and giving these sloths the best life possible after injury or rescue.
If you’re visiting Monteverde, I highly recommend adding this to your itinerary. It was one of the most meaningful stops of our Costa Rica trip.
