Greenland’s Prime Minister, Jens-Frederik Nielsen, delivered a sharp rebuke to Washington on Tuesday, stating that his government would choose Denmark over the U.S. in any 'here and now' ultimatum.
However, upon his arrival at Joint Base Andrews from Michigan, president Trump dismissed the remarks, tellings reporters 'it's their problem' and reiterating his stance that the U.S. must acquire the island to prevent Russian or Chinese influence.
