Just finished some pruning and harvesting of my mum’s pā harakeke today — cutting each leaf on an angle, close to the base, so the plant can breathe, flourish, and continue to grow strong. 🌱💚
Living here in Ōrākei, Auckland, proud Māori girl born and raised in Aotearoa. I’m turning 40 next year, and this is the journey I’m on — reconnecting, learning, creating, and honouring my whakapapa every step of the way.
