Описание: This video was made to demonstrate how teachers can use Google Classroom to communicate with their class, set assignments and more. After watching the video, there are some practical tasks to try out below:

1. Go to Google Classroom and create your own class. Name it whatever you like. Choose a theme you like. (If when you click the + you only have the option to join class but not to create class, ask your admin to add you to the classroom_teachers group)
2. Invite a colleague to join your class (People tab)
3. Create an assignment called ‘Getting to know you’. Attach the worksheet that you made in the Docs task (or create your own worksheet), make a copy for each student, leave the topic blank, it can be unmarked, and set the due date within next 2 weeks.
4. Create an announcement in the stream, asking your students a question.
5. (This might not apply to you...) Join the class that your partner invited you to as a student. Respond to their announcement and complete their assignment.
Extension: Go to the work that your partner has completed (click on assigned) and add a comment. Could you make use of the comment bank? How do you edit the work directly rather than make suggestions in their work? How would you differentiate an assignment, if you had two different worksheets?
