In this webinar, Mirella Amato discusses some of the best ways to answer the BJCP Written Exam question S0: Beer Style Questions
50% Describe the aroma, appearance, flavor and mouthfeel of each style according to the BJCP Beer Style Guidelines.
25% Compare and contrast the three styles based on their ingredients, characteristics or background information (history, fermentation or serving methods)
15% Parameters: Provide typical values or ranges for the original gravity (OG), IBU, ABV and color( SRM or textual description) of the three styles.
10% For each of the styles, name one classic commercial example as listed in the 2015 BJCP Style Guidelines

Mirella has a regular beer column on Radio Canada and is regularly featured on television. She contributed a number of entries to the Oxford Companion to Beer and she is the author of the award-winning book Beerology: Everything You Need to Know to Enjoy Beer…Even More.
Mirella is also involved in many projects that focus on promoting local beer and the art of beer appreciation. She is a founding member of her local cask-conditioned ale advocacy group Cask! Mirella also founded the Toronto Chapters of Barley’s Angels and The Pink Boots Society.
