This video was recorded August 5, 2023 at the Toronto Caribbean Carnival (aka Caribana) Parade.
Note: Approximately two minutes was cut from the 5:14 mark, as I was dealing with event staff at that point requesting that I not stand while recording. All videos recorded this day were done while I was sitting down with a fence in front of me, explaining in part the questionable quality of visuals this year, as I had to extend my arm and camera on the fence for a clear shot of the stage for the majority of the day.
Also random shout-out to the reveller waving to her grandma at the 11:24 mark. I was sitting next to both the reveller's grandmother and the grandmother's sister. They were two of the more considerate people I interacted with that day. The fact that you, the reveller, acknowledged their presence and showed them respect amidst all of the action speaks volumes of your upbringing. Kudos to you.
