ThinkNation: Brighton Digital Festival 2018

Описание: ThinkNation held a special event proudly part of Brighton Digital Festival and supported by Our Future City.

On Saturday October 13th, 27 young people (aged 14-24) from Brighton and Hove, plus eight young people from Sweden joined mentors from the tech, creative and business industries.

Over one day, they explored four BIG questions, creating presentations in our workshop that they then delivered LIVE that evening in front of a public audience.

In just seven hours, the groups worked together to create a total of five presentations, one on each question, and two on mental health question.

ABOUT THINKNATION: Through seminars, workshops, film screenings, events and meet-ups, ThinkNation connects young people to some of the most accomplished and relevant actors in technology to tackle and think through tech’s impact on everyday life today and in the future.

We focus on being truly inclusive: We believe ideas and talent can be found in everyone. We seek out young people between the ages of 14 and 24, whether they are unemployed, employed, homeless, apprentices, students, or in or out of training to participate in our programme. We are open to all.
