UPDATE: ALBANY - State Police have identified the woman found dead near the NYS Museum on Sunday morning.
Investigators say 23 year old Htee K. Paw was discovered at around 1:00 a.m. at the WWII memorial near the NYS Museum by a homeless person.
Paw was also known as a homeless person who frequented the area.
An autopsy determined the cause of death to be attributed to chronic liver disease. Investigators are awaiting toxicology testing, however police say she had consumed alcohol before being found. They do not suspect foul play.
Police are still investigating.
ALBANY - State Police are investigating a report of an unattended death in the vicinity of the Empire State Plaza.
CBS6 has made multiple calls to the State Police, however officials would not confirm the age or gender of the deceased, or the exact location of the body.
