The second of Samana's portrait series, this short film follows Butoh dancer Marie-Gabrielle Rotie and her philosophical perspective on leaving the home she and her partner designed—a minimalist, architectural masterpiece—after their relationship ended. The film explores her process of reclaiming the house as an artistic act, leaving behind a legacy that transcends the self. It captures a fleeting moment in time through movement and sound, serving as evidence, a witness, and a gift back to the house and its space.
