► The Gaming World is on fire, and I like it. Genshin Impact and HoYoverse have their first real rival in Kuro Games' Wuthering Waves. The two Chinese business titans have been attempting to out do, outplay and outsmart one another in a way the gacha game market has never seen before. I go over MiHoYo's history as a company and journey to where they are now, along with competitors and eventually, the battle their facing currently.
HoYoverse made millions with Honkai Impact the 3rd, then billions with Genshin and Star Rail. While Kuro came from more humble beginnings with Punishing Gray Raven and then beginning development on Wuthering Waves, which as just recently released and has shaken up the gacha space.
