I cannot put into words how stunned I still am that this was able to happen as soon as it did for me. A month and a week after my first consultation, I was able to have my hysterectomy.
I know.
Again, I am STUNNED.
Anyway, yes here is what the first few days of my recovery looked like. I have come so far and I’m proud of how strong this body is! As I’m typing this it is 2/15, and I’m feeling so so good. I didn’t know what to really expect, but this is far better than anything I could have thought. I’ve been (mostly) pain free since Monday 2/12, and so glad to be resting now.
With all that, expect more slow days ahead as I won’t be fully back to normal for about 2 months!
