British born, kiwi resident, (and former Evo employee) Toby Atkins tells his story of how a cycling team manager shockingly tried to introduce him to performance-enhancing substances at a training camp when he was 20.
Initially, Toby reported the incident to a friend within British Cycling, who then passed the information on to the UCI.
Toby ended up collecting evidence against his team, which resulted in a police investigation, which led to their team manager being banned from sport for six years.
Toby is now an advocate with the UCI and WADA (World anti-doping Agency) for a safer, cleaner sport.
