Orange Hulk & Gold War Machine are both hidden characters in this game. They are both hidden playable characters.

===== About Orange Hulk =====
A palette swap of the regular Hulk. The differences between him and regular Hulk is that Orange Hulk has no super armor, but he can combo better as his basics are slightly faster.

===== About Gold War Machine =====
A palette swap of the regular War Machine. Gold War Machine has Hyper Armor, which means that he cannot be stunned. He can still be thrown though. Also, he cannot block, walks slow and has reduced dashing and jumping range... basically being a very 'heavy' character. Other differences include the fact that he projects missiles instead of laser beams.

It's funny when you consider that regular War Machine is already a palette-swap of Iron Man from Marvel Super Heroes in the first place. So what we have here is a palette-swap of a palette-swap character.

==== About Marvel vs. Capcom 1 =====
MvC1 is one of my all-time favorite fighting games... I probably like it more than MvC2. It really was the game that showed how good crossovers from multiple franchises can be. The Special Partner feature is a cool idea as it added some uniqueness to the main gameplay and allowed us to see what other characters from other franchises and other Marvel characters looked like under Capcom's Vs series artistry. The soundtrack is decent as well. I really wish Ryu had his personal theme rather than the SF2 Title theme...
