Remember the movie Death Race? And the sequels. That's right, I don't remember the sequels either. Death Roads is basically that movie in a board game, pick your characters, choose your vehicle, mount your weapons, and then try to survive. I mean win. Winning is the goal. Not taking out all your opponents. I should try to remember that more often.
