11 honoured for contributions to St. Peter

Ten St. Peter residents and one individual who does not reside in the parish have been honoured with the Pride of Barbados award for their contribution to developing the parish.
President Dame Sandra Mason bestowed the honour upon them this morning at State House, as part of Government's We Gatherin' 2025 national celebrations.
Among them are Carol Boyce, Cheri Boyce, Gray Brome, Oral Holder, Sharon Howell, Anthony Jordan, Reynold McClean, Irwin Scantlebury, Bernard Weatherhead, Randolph Woodroffe, and Mervin Griffith who does not reside in that parish.
Member of Parliament for St. Peter Colin Jordan says the recipients are deserving of the award.
Sharon Howell, who has committed many years to pastoral work, philantropy and leadership of community initiatives says she is humbled to be on the St. Peter We Gatherin' 2025 Honours List.
