This tutorial is the first of a new series of tutorials catered towards beginner students who have never played the piano before or are just starting out. In this lesson, we'll start with the introduction of the track covering the following sections:

0:00 – Example of what you'll be learning
1:13 – Introduction
2:13 – Basic concepts
6:25 – 3:2 polyrhythm
8:49 – Left hand shape
10:43 – Shapes in both hands
18:17 – Combining shapes with polyrhythm
25:30 – Sustain pedal
27:24 – Example of the intro again

If you're interested in learning some theory, I recommend checking out http://musictheory.net (in particular their Exercises section), which I've been using for over a decade and still use to this day.

This is the exercise I recommend in the tutorial to help you learn the white keys if you’re unfamiliar with them: https://www.musictheory.net/exercises... I’d suggest learning the keys by rote and avoid counting up from a reference note every time. This is a common mistake.
