If you're a new fan, you don't know what's going on because you haven't played the original. Who is this made for? Square Enix made it too inaccessible. The writing is just plain bad. It reads like fan fiction, full of Marvel humor, PG Disney cringe and multiverse madness. Barret is now a clown. And as for Aeris's death scene... I don't think the rewrite was a good idea.
