Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking together at this transfer switch with the quick flip connectors for 30 amp. Now this transfer switch is gonna let you automatically reroute your RV's AC input from the shore power to then the generator power when it activated. So again, you're using the generator, you needed to automatically transfer back over. That's what this is gonna do. It can also be used with an inverter in place of a generator if you have that setup or you wanna do that route.

It's got a nice built in time delay function that's gonna only allow one input to feed your RV's breaker panel at one time. So it's gonna protect the system from AC power back feed. Now this does have a very nice black case. It's got cord knockouts built into it on both sides or rather all four sides. You kind of see all them there.

You just pop them out wherever you need to. It is made in the USA, it's a nice hard black plastic case. Now the amperage is rated for 30 amps, the voltage is 120 volts. Now the length from end to end here on the screw down point is nine and a quarter inches. From that edge to that edge it is seven and 5/16th inches wide and it is four and 13/16 inches tall.

Again, four and 3/16 inches tall. It weighs two and a half pounds. Pretty light little guy here, two year warranty. Now I'm gonna go ahead and pop it open so we can show you some of the features from the top here. Very simple to get it on and off, you just pull that tab and then you can see the inside here.

So again, this does come with very nice features that I personally have used in the past doing some electrical wiring myself. So these are what are called lever lock connectors. So very simple insulation. You strip your wire back the appropriate length per the instructions provided, and then you push that wire into the end over here, next to this wire, and you simply push it down, it clicks right onto the wire. If you ever have to remove that wire, you simply open that connector back up. Hard to do here with one hand. There we go. And you could then pull that other wire back out. So again, very simple install, very simple connectors to use. Like I said, I've used them in my personal life a bunch of times doing electrical. Basically it replaces like a butt connector or something of that sort. A much safer connection, a much quicker connection. So again, there's the inside. Very nice made product. And as far as getting the cover back on, very simple, just line up the tabs, snap it back on. Well that's gonna do it for our look together at this transfer switch with the quick flip connector.
