I'm obsessed with Chiloé. Last weekend we went driving to Lacuy Peninsula, just 37 km away from the center of Ancud and found some of these lovely sunsets, historical handmade boats and funny waves to surf in one of the furthest south shores of Chile.
You'll have videos riding with volcanos in the background, huge waves and hopefully found some penguins, how does that sound? You'll find this spot in the report :) !
Also there's this white beach made of seashells, you just have to deal with the way down (and up again).
I really recommend this place if you're looking for real nature, adventure and unbelievable landscapes. I just want you to remember that Ancud has the longest north beaches from all the island.
Faro Corona it's considered, in tourism matters, among the twelve heritage wonders of the Los Lagos Region, and also, it's the second lighthouse put into service in Chile.
