Hello dear friends,
Merry Christmas and happy New Year to you all.
I hope to bring you some holiday joy through this video. In our family we have Christmas traditions from both Finland and Sweden, since Åland is a mixture of both cultures. Like all Nordic countries we do celebrate Christmas mainly on the 24th of December and Santa comes in the evening. On the 25th our family gathered our relatives and had a great feast and sang a lot of "Snapsvisor".
Don't forget that this only shows the best parts of Christmas, of course it is stressful and hectic at the same time. I'm very tired now and wish I could sleep until New Year. I have tons of school work though. But this is truly my favourite holiday. And bless the weather gods for we got the most beautiful winter weather. The cold plunges were amazing.
