My last day in Basra, this was before i took the train! many thanks to Azhar for showing me Basra that weekend and the laughs! he told me to stick out my arm to stop the bus , then told me to shout "NAZEL"? to stop the bus....im assuming this is right but i have no idea! hahah ...as it turned out it was the last stop as you can see so everyone was getting off anyway ;)
Nest unexpected place was the Iraq Modern Cultural Assembly! Which is a tea place and also a place where they do regular gatherings for activists, poets, artists, writers will talk about their book , painters! i got the impression its a place where people can basically go and talk about whatever they want ....my friend said its where people can go to "breathe". i stayed quite a while and had some interesting conversations without the camera on! such respectable hospitable welcoming people. very inspiring!
thanks to @XRPOfficial_Live for the weekend! ill be back!! 2 days wasnt long enough!
