🚨 CORECTION!! Someone in the comments pointed out an error in something I said in this video, and as embarrassing as it is, I need to make a correction. I said that, if LP invoked his Fifth Amendment right, the judge would need to give an instruction to the jury an instruction not to draw a negative criminal inference from that invocation. While that’s true in criminal cases, it actually isn’t the case when a party to a civil case invokes the Fifth. So actually, this is even worse for LP because, if he refuses to testify for this reason, the jury totally CAN draw a negative inference against him for it, which means they can assume it means he actually defrauded the CryptoZoo investors.

In other words, it’s actually even worse for LP than I originally thought. 🫠

In this video, we're following up on our last one in the Logan Paul v. Coffeezilla defamation saga. Last time, we went over the newly revealed evidence that was previously marked confidential, and which Paul was trying to keep confidential under a protective order. Specifically, those were revelations that Paul was himself being investigated by the SEC and the FBI for his activities around CryptoZoo, and that the FBI's investigation is currently ongoing. In this follow-up, we're talking about a number of reasons why I think this this is particularly bad for Paul.

In response, Logan Paul posted a short video to his main channel, Logan Paul, in which he threatened Coffeezilla with a defamation lawsuit. He followed this with an episode of his podcast, Impaulsive, where he repeated the same threat. He has since taken down both videos and reached out to Coffeezilla to inform him that he's no longer pursuing litigation--but he still may have opened himself up to liability along the way, nonetheless.
