Introducing CA ANZ’s new 2026 – 2030 strategy

Описание: In an uncertain and fast-changing world, strategic clarity has never been so important.

Over the past five years, a clear purpose and intent is how we cemented CA ANZ’s position as Australia and New Zealand’s peak accounting body.

With new and emerging opportunities and threats, it is time to refresh our focus, which is why I am proud to reveal to you today our new 2026 – 2030 strategy.

Taking effect from1 July 2025, our new strategy builds on the innovation, member focus, and fiscal discipline that made our last strategy a success.

Central to our new strategy is equipping our members to harness the power of AI. We will provide our members with best-practice AI tools, resources and educational opportunities to enhance the vital work they do in our communities, businesses and economies.

We will also use AI to transform learning and higher education in a way that is ethical, responsible and empowering for our CA candidates.

Attracting the next generation of talent remains a priority. Through the ‘four Ps of attraction’ – perceptions, policies, pathways, and partnerships – we will tap into a broader and more diverse pool of talent, engage parents as well as students and educators, through partnerships, digital tools and membership programs positioning CAs as indispensable to business success.

As reporting frameworks and legislative requirements change, we will equip our members to lead the way in sustainability reporting with best-practice tools, resources and thought leadership, backed by new credentials.

We will continue to make it easier for our members to engage with us, through a new website, CPD subscription process and mobile app.

And while we strengthen our ability to adapt quickly to the fast-evolving external landscape, we will never lose sight of the vital ‘always-on’ work we must do for our members today.

Maintaining trust in the profession by upholding professional and ethical standards, backed by our strengthened conduct and disciplinary framework. And remaining steadfastly focused on core educational and advocacy areas such as taxation, assurance and reporting, superannuation, financial advice, business reform, sustainability, anti-money laundering, skills and migration and diversity, equity and inclusion.
